Bernard Vukas was born on May 1st 1927 in Zagreb.
In 1938 he started playing for "Concordia" juniors, Zagreb.
In 1945 and 1946 he was a member of "Amateur" and "Zagreb"
Football Teams.
In 1947 he joined the "Hajduk" Football Team in Split.
With "Hajduk" he won the Jugoslav Championship in 1950, 1952
and 1955.

The best shooter of the first football league in 1954/55 with a score
of 20 goals.
The winner of the Silver Olympic Medal in London 1948 and Helsinki 1952.
